How often should I weigh myself?

Is weighing yourself necessary to maintain good health?

We all need a push in the direction of our goals. Now I don’t know your personal goals but I do know we all need support. Sometimes we don’t know which direction to take. Sometimes we want to move but feel stuck.

What are your health goals? Do you want to lose weight? Maintain your weight? Just be healthier? It’s time to start your journey, the healthy way. No worries! We’re going to start slow, why? Because slow and steady ALWAYS wins the race. No more yoyo diets, and quick fads, only to gain weight back. Take your time and build a solid foundation in your journey to better health.

No matter what; your goals you need a solid foundation. Sometimes we know what we want but don’t know howto achieve them or where to start.

Weighing yourself everyday?

When’s the last time you weighed yourself? 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, last Dr’s visit? Weighing yourself can be as scary as getting your std results (face) lol, But the truth can’t hurt you. Actually in this scenario, it can really help you.

You may not be ready to face the scale, but I need you to face this. Your weight is a direct correlation to your health and it doesn’t require a Dr, or a prescription. 

Weighing yourself shows:

Allows manage your weight

It keeps you accountable

  • The scale is like your bank account, do you wait a year to check how much money you have?? You have to take watch your weight like you watch your pockets. Otherwise you’ll wake up one day.. And ask yourself how did I get here..

And even if you are satisfied with your weight, you should know if your lifestyle is working or if you need to change things up…and change never hurt nobody.
